What the Transfer API gives you

One integration, one JSON envelope — the same credentials you use for flights and hotels.

Airport transfers

Pickups and drop-offs between airports, hotels and city addresses, ready to attach to a flight booking.

Private transfers

Point-to-point private vehicle bookings for leisure and corporate travellers.

Search and compare

Search transfers for a route and date, then open a single offer for its full details.

Traveller details

Attach the lead traveller's information to the selected transfer before booking.

Book, retrieve and cancel

Create the booking, pull booking details and cancel over the API — no manual desk work.

Sold with the trip

Same integration as flights and hotels, so a door-to-door trip is one checkout on your side.

Booking flow

6 documented endpoints, called in this order. Every call is a POST to the base URL issued with your credentials, and returns a tracking_id you carry into the next step.

  1. 1Transfer search — search available transfers for a route and date
  2. 2Single transfer search — get full details of one transfer offer
  3. 3Update traveller info — add traveller details to the selected transfer
  4. 4Create booking — confirm the transfer booking
  5. 5Booking details — retrieve the booking
  6. 6Cancel booking — cancel an existing transfer booking

Full request and response fields are in the API documentation.

Response envelope (abbreviated)

{ "status": "success", "data": { "tracking_id": "1117415826952619349TRF", // transfer offers / booking fields }, "message": "Transfers found successfully." }

Shape follows the shared Tripgic envelope; product-specific fields are listed in the documentation.

Frequently asked questions

What kind of transfers can I sell?

Private and airport transfers — pickups and drop-offs between airports, hotels and city addresses — through the Transfer API.

How does the booking flow work?

Search transfers, open a single transfer for full details, add traveller information, create the booking, then retrieve it with booking details. Bookings can be cancelled with the cancel endpoint.

Does it use the same format as the other Tripgic APIs?

Yes. It uses the same authentication and the same JSON envelope — status, message and a tracking_id — as every other Tripgic API, so your existing integration patterns carry over.

Which plans include the Transfer API?

The Transfer API is included in the Essential and Enterprise plans. See pricing for what each plan covers.

How are transfer prices marked up?

Prices returned on validation and booking include Tripgic's fixed per-transaction markup — a flat USD 2–10 depending on product and plan, never a percentage. See pricing.
