LATAM Airlines NDC: how agencies and developers access LATAM content
The NDC by LATAM portal and API, GDS NDC deals, the distribution surcharge, and the ways to connect.

What is LATAM NDC?
LATAM NDC is LATAM Airlines Group’s IATA New Distribution Capability programme. Agencies can book and service LATAM offers, including seats, bags and priority boarding, through the NDC by LATAM portal, an API, certified aggregators, and NDC connections in GDSs such as Sabre.
LATAM completed NDC integration with ARC Direct Connect in October 2023, signed NDC deals with Amadeus, Sabre and Travelport between December 2024 and May 2025, and went live in Sabre in February 2025. It charges a Distribution Cost Recovery Surcharge (DCRS) on GDS tickets, EDIFACT and NDC alike, but not on tickets issued through its direct NDC channels or certified aggregators. LATAM NDC vs GDS (EDIFACT) bookings
- Surcharge: LATAM’s DCRS was US$13 per coupon on GDS tickets from July 2024 and rose on specific GDSs from 12 May 2025; direct NDC and certified aggregator tickets are exempt.
- Ancillaries: over NDC agencies can add seats, bags and priority boarding at booking.
- Servicing: date changes, voids, refunds and automated disruption handling are supported through the NDC by LATAM portal, the API or aggregators.
- GDS NDC: LATAM NDC went live in Sabre in February 2025; Amadeus and Travelport have signed NDC deals, and we found no confirmed Travelport launch date.

Tickets issued through LATAM’s direct NDC API or portal or a certified aggregator are not surcharged. We did not find the new per-GDS amounts in text form.
Is LATAM NDC available in a GDS?
Sabre launched LATAM NDC offers in February 2025. Amadeus agreed in December 2024 to add LATAM NDC content, and Travelport agreed in May 2025 with no launch timeline announced.
Can US agencies settle LATAM NDC bookings through ARC?
Yes. Since October 2023 LATAM has been integrated with ARC Direct Connect, so agencies with an ARC number can book LATAM NDC content with settlement through ARC.
How do I access LATAM Airlines through Tripgic?
