SriLankan Airlines NDC: how agencies and developers access SriLankan content

What is SriLankan Airlines NDC?

SriLankan Airlines NDC is the Sri Lankan flag carrier’s agent booking channel built on IATA’s New Distribution Capability, sold through the SriLankan Direct Connect portal. Registered agents get private fares, fare families, ancillaries, free date changes and an incentive scheme for flown segments.

SriLankan launched SriLankan Direct Connect in Sri Lanka in August 2023 and began its global rollout in India in January 2024, saying the launch qualifies it for IATA’s Airline Retailing Maturity certification. The airline’s own starting point is SriLankan Airlines — SriLankan Direct Connect NDC agent portal. Travel agencies use it to read the airline’s agent policies and distribution rules and to contact the airline about access. Access is granted by the airline itself, usually only to accredited agencies, and a direct connection still needs your own integration.
