What is Malaysia Airlines NDC?

Malaysia Airlines NDC is the airline’s IATA New Distribution Capability platform, called MHplus. Travel retailers and TMCs use it to book Malaysia Airlines with MHplus-exclusive fares and content, all fare families, ancillaries such as extra baggage, seats and lounge access, and end-to-end servicing.

Malaysia Airlines reached IATA Airline Retailing Maturity status in November 2023, rolled out MHplus in six markets in January 2024 and to all global markets in November 2024. MHplus runs on Amadeus Altéa and supports NDC schemas 18.1 and 21.3. See our plain-English guide to NDC for the standard itself.
