Singapore Airlines NDC: how agencies and developers access KrisConnect

What is Singapore Airlines NDC?

Singapore Airlines NDC is the airline’s IATA New Distribution Capability programme, called KrisConnect. Agencies use it to book SIA flights with NDC fare discounts, continuous pricing and fare classes that are not sold through EDIFACT, without the per-ticket fee SIA applies to GDS EDIFACT tickets.

SIA reached IATA NDC Level 3 in 2018 and launched KrisConnect that year. It introduced an EDIFACT fee in 2021 and raised it to US$20 per ticket worldwide in 2023, while NDC tickets, including those booked through a GDS, stay exempt. See our plain-English guide to NDC for the standard itself.

Three ways to access Singapore Airlines NDC

You can connect to Singapore Airlines directly, through a GDS that carries its NDC content, or through an NDC aggregator. The right choice depends on your engineering capacity and how many airlines you sell.
